I hidden gem in Dayton, I have been several times and have greatly enjoyed my food each time. The atmosphere is cozy, and the wait on Sunday evenings is not long. Everything we have had has been delicious!

Our party of 6 enjoyed an excellent meal here on a very busy Saturday night. The walleye special with morel mushrooms was outstanding, as was the service. The only negative was how close our table was to others. The place was packed yet the service remained noteworthy. All of the good parts made for a great time. Highly recommended.

The Caesar salad was bland (and costs extra). Some of the seafood on the Fisherman's Platter was great-the fried oysters. But the catch of the day tasted absolutely like mush. Two of us for dinner - one had Monk Fish, I had Salmon on a Cedar plank. Both were excellent. So was the service. The wine list is very, very good - with several great and fair priced wines by the glass. Great menu with wide choices. Beautiful, turn of the century type dining area and bar.

Fresh, tasty and worth the money, if you have it. Be ready to spend some money, but it is worth every penny spent for the freshest seafood in the local area, with the homemade desserts. sometimes you have to wait to get in,but it is worth the wait too. service is outstanding and friendly too.

Good service, good food as well. Had a salmon salad that I'm still craving a refill. Love the decor and atmosphere.

Jay's is our go-to place and has been for 25+ years. Great seafood; great wine list; SUPERB wine prices; great staff. The grilled rare tuna and the scotch soy scallops are my favorites. They have some wonderful monthly 3-course dinners that are a real bargain.
