In 1970, Joe Namath, famous quarterback of the New York Jets, acquired the nickname "Broadway Joe" and frequented the restaurant and brought sports legends, as well as stars from Broadway shows to dine here. We had not read the earlier reviews - if we had done so we would not have gone to Broadway Joes. However, we are pleased we did give it a go. We went for the fixed menu and this was delicious. Our steak was beautifully cooked and the desert was lovely. Service was excellent - our waiter was from Florida... More

I suppose the fact that all nearby restaurants were bursting at the seams and this one wasn't should have given us a clue - but we really fancied a steak, there were spaces, so we went in to sample their fixed price menu. The starter was the worst Caesar Salad ever with brownish lettuce, soft croutons and a distinct lack... More

Went in for a mid afternoon late lunch or very early dinner with my daughter under suggestion of the concierge of the hotel where we stayed. The waiter hardly smiled offering only a pretense of hospitality. He spent a long time waking around apparently aimlessly and despite having very few costumers, he could not take orders for our drinks till... More

My husband and I stopped in here for a quick lunch before a play on a Wednesday afternoon. I had the Lentil soup and my husband had their cheeseburger. The food was good - fresh bread and butter started and our lunches included a tea or coffee after. Fernando, our waiter did a great job looking after us...and the other... More

Don't waste your time at Broadway Joe's. Food quality was very poor. This Saturday evening visit was the only major disappointment of our trip.

we were seated very quickly, and we were given water. Then we got the bread which was hamburger buns. The Caesar salad had gummy like crutons. We order the filet mignon and lobster tail with a Cabernet red wine.. the wine was undrinkable.. the filet mignon, mine was way under cooked, and the meat tasted wrong. My wifes was supposed... More

I'm giving this restaurant a 3 based on our last visit. We have dined here before a few times and enjoyed those visits, however this time we felt like 2nd class citizens. We were seated promptly and placed our drink orders. We both ordered off of the Restaurant Week menu - I got the salmon and my husband got the... More

Excellent menu choices, attentive service and pleasant ambience made this a good choice. We had a 7pm curtain time and not much time to spare as we arrived at the restaurant minutes before 6. We choose the fixed price menu and filet mignon was delicious. Service was attentive but not at all rushed. All in all a surprise given the... More
