Description: The Park stands out from the rest. This hip spot in the heart of the meatpacking district is bound to impress even the most jaded of the New York elite. Each room evokes a different theme--from the rainforest-style dining room to the Red Room infused with Asian aesthetic. The dining room encircles an immense cluster of bamboo, with other tropical plants stand strategically placed. The organic nature of the setting is complimented splendidly by the healthy, adventurous dishes of new American cuisine on the menu. A glass enclosed Atrium offers a secluded and chic spot for any private event or party. The penthouse leads to a rooftop patio with a hot tub, also suited for social gatherings. In addition, a heated outdoor garden with Japanese maple trees gives diners the chance to enjoy the Park's distinct cuisine outside any time of year. Come to the Park and escape from the norm.

I went to this restaurant with my friends. From the outside, it looks very nice. First, we have been waiting at the bar to our table to get ready. Once we've left the bar, they were lots of table empty. We didn't understand why?? They gave us a table in the ''terrasse'' section, without having asking for it. My friend... More

This place makes you fall in love with NYC all over again. Located at the edges of the meat packing district in Chelsea, it is a large establishment with quite a few environments, ranging from a intimate cocktail bar, to a large al fresco dining area and a lofty terrace bar. Despite its size the place feels intimate and inclusive.... More

Tippy Hedren would have felt right at home here. Interesting place, especially the garden. The sound of birds in the garden was quite loud. We figured it was just the volume of the fake bird sounds turned up really loud. We were told twice that the sounds were real birds. Something happened about a quarter of the way through our... More

We stopped into The Park after a Wednesday night stroll on the High Line. Even though it was a busy mid-week dinner rush and a waiting line at the CookShop down the street, the wait at The Park was non-existent. Prices were overall moderate for a good meal. Drink: Had Manhattans prior to dinner, priced high, but that’s ok since... More

I met a friend at the Park after walking the High Line this past weekend. It is right on 10th between 17th and 18th and was a fabulous surprise. The wait was short, the restaurant itself is divided into a "park area" and an indoor area, but it is all comfortable and well spaced. I checked out the menu before... More

Had dinner here last night. The space is very pretty and airy, just like the pictures on their website. We sat in the main room as they had booths (more comfortable seats). The "garden" room was next door and the seats were park-like chairs. I noticed a few sparrows flitting around between the in-door trees. I felt bad that they... More

This is a gorgeous restaurant, very airy (the wall opens up onto a courtyard when the weather is appropriate). There are trees growing inside the restaurant. The food is good, the fries served shaken with sea salt and fried rosemary in a brown paper bag, the pizzas are well executed. Advice to tourists: to drink at the often very busy... More

We really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant, especially sitting close to the outside seating area which, in a March heatwave, was quite full. The food was average towards good. More

Focaccia was good, drinks(although small)were also good. Service was not. Pizza was missing one of the promised toppings and overall there were far better choices of places to go. The outside seating was what attracted us. More
