We were staying a few doors down and did not feel up to traipsing around the city while it was raining. The doorman suggested we go dine at Jewel of India. We were so thankful for his recommendation. It was the best Indian food I have ever consumed. The Chicken Tikka Masala was a perfect blend of spices, not too... More

I have eaten here many times in the past 10 years, love the food and staff, fast, clean, attentive, great food. Fair prices for a better-quality Indian place in the city. Will always come back. More

i liked every single thing i got here. The naan was great. I ordered my chicken masala mild and it was a little hot, so order mild if you are in doubt. The wait staff was timely and attentive. Some people think the waitors are rude, but that is not right. Indian people by nature seem to be more formail... More

The constructive feedback - this restaurant shouldn't have an Open Table reservation available if they don't want the business. See the review titled "don't make open table reservation after 10:30p". Open Table gave option for seating reservation at 11pm so we took it. After seeing our Broadway show, we walked in at 10:50pm. We were greeted with "our kitchen is closed in 10-minutes, if you want something, you have to order quick." When we sat down, we were told "the kitchen is closing soon." When we were handed the menu,... More
