During our jaunt to Chinatown on vacation our group chose the Green bow for lunch... The food was to everyone's liking. Shrimp in sauce, beef chow fun, and vegetable dumplings were their favorites on the menu. They all felt that the portions were generous and delicious. The value was well received as the bill was only 28 bucks! Inexpensive for... More

Lines out the door, people on waiting list, you sit at tables with strangers. The place is tiny, the decor gets a zero, and the staff is, for the most part surly and tired and angry and pissed off and speaks maybe three words of English. They're yelling at each other in Chinese, and yelling at the customers, and once... More

I got to this joint whenever I'm in NYC. The place is small--you might have to sit at a table with strangers, but the food and prices are great. I've never had anything bad there. I highly recommend the steamed vegetable dumplings. Hot tea comes with the meal and the service is very fast. More

Very good food at an amazingly low price. 6 of us had appetizers, full dinners and drinks for under $100. In NYC, seemed impossible. No ambience to comment upon, very small and the restroom was not nice. But, we enjoyed the food, and had left overs. Authentic Chinatown experience. More

My partner and I had lunch in Green Bo during a trip to NYC in January 2011. Maybe we ordered the wrong items, but the lunch was terrible. We both ordered noodles, which came out burnt. Neither of us are fussy eaters, but neither of us enjoyed or ate much of our meal. Oh, and the toilets are horrible. More

Their soup dumplings are made to order behind the counter and are work trekking to New York for. It's not the cleanest or spacious place but for a cheap diner with great food it's the place to go. More

Nwe Green Bo is a non-descript Chinese restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. The number one thing to get are the soup dumplings. These little dumplings are full of flavor and the perfect meal for a cool Fall or Spring day. The pork ones are my favorite, but any flavor is good. I also highly recommend the spicy noodles, which... More

Loved every bite of the food, stunning and great prices too.. Manager is hardly Mr. Happy though and no credit cards so pay cash plus big tip or manager goes out of his way to make you look an idiot when paying.. shame because the food is beautiful.. More

I don't really like traditional/authentic Dim Sum, but this restaurant was great. Dumplings were great. Looking forward to going again! More
