Huge portions, a little on the more expensive side but the food is really something. the memorabilia is great too. Be prepared to wait or book ahead as this place is busy!

We stopped in the Brooklyn diner to rest our feet after a long day of walking. The service was very friendly. The giant cookie was delicious and the beer was refreshing. The bathrooms were clean.

we came across this restaurant on the way back from Central Park and what a gem, a traditional New York diner with italian influences on the menu. The Cheesburger deluxe was superb and I had just enough room for one of the best apple pies I've ever eaten. Cally the waitress was brilliant and worth the tip!

We heard that some celebrities favoured the Brooklyn Diner on 57th Street so wanted to give it a go. Not sure why this place is called a diner, except for the style of service. It's nice that there is a low-key casual feel to the place, but the prices. Oh my the prices. This place ain't cheap. The cheapest entree is $16 I think. Fish and Chips were $20!
The food however, was presented in such a lovely way....

Omg, delicious! Lamb burger, juicy, tasty.
Beef burger as well.
Huge cake for desert. Enough for 2.
Delicious again. Much better food than the hundreds of resturants around times square which were so so and expensive.
