Our dinner at wd-50 was an enjoyable experience however, the food was just not memorable enough to justify the $300 per person expense (wine pairing included). A few days after our dinner, out of 11 courses, the only dish that stands out for me is the Pho Gras (an absolutely delicious bowl of soup that changed by the minute as... More

I chose this place to celebrate my 50th birthday at. Having had enough experience in high end restaurants at home in Sydney, this lived up to my expectations in terms of food and wine. I felt the place was very crowded / noisy given the amount being charged for the food, and the courses came out to quickly to begin... More

We went on the first night of the new menu. It was like they'd been doing it forever. It's a quintessential NYC experience; you can't get it anywhere else. The food and service were top notch. The ambiance and room were perfectly charming without being too fancy or over done. It's not cheap but neither is Broadway or the Met... More

had dinner at WD 50. having dined at numerous molecular restaurants, this was substandard. honestly, portions were small and you really did not quite know what you were eating. flavours were blend and adding some foam and spice doesn't really cut it. skip it. More

I have been wanting to try Wd~50 for a while now, so when my boyfriend told me to make a reservation I jumped on opentable immediately to get a table. I was a bit hesitant because he likes more of the simpler fare, so wasn't sure what his reaction would be to some of the items on the menu. I... More

This was my third visit and this was the most special one! The food was more than amazing. Service was very good, sometimes needs a bit more attention to details. Me & my wife we agree with the San Pellegrino World Best Restaurant that WD50 is a world class restaurant. More

This was probably my most disappointing meal in recent memory. I've spent the last year going to several molecular restaurants and have found them delicious, interesting, and amazing experiences. The best analog I can give is that you go somewhere expecting NY Pizza and end up with Sbarro. This place, the owner, and management couldn't care less. The atmosphere was... More

The food is amazing!!! We recommend doing the tasting menu and wine pairing. Is expensive but worth every penny. The only think that I did not love was the sitting because I prefer a little bit more privacy. But overall was a great experience. The best food ever!!! More

During a recent visit to NYC my wife & I had the pleasure of dining in Wd~50! The restaurant had been recommended by friends back home who had visited in sep 2011. We arrived ahead of schedule and were warmly greeted and shown to our table. The tables are relatively close together which I guess might not suit everyone but... More

We went for my birthday. Expensive, yes, but we did the tasting menu because it was a special occasion. The food was inventive and delicious and the wines were unusual, but terrific! I tries foods that I never thought I would and enjoyed every second of it. The service was wonderful. More
