Fun, neighborhood NYC Italian restaurant.
Great flavors, attentive staff, and reasonable wine collection.
Signature pink pasta sauce is delicious!

Enjoy! Food is exquisite, northern Italian cuisine featuring daily specials such as signature dish Angel Hair Pasta with Vodka Sauce, and other pasta combinations with seafood, steak, veal and chicken all complimented by fine Italian wines. Personal attention by experienced old world style waiters in a charming intimate setting with limited seating and lots of ambiance.

We have been going to Nanni's for years but no more. Six of us just had dinner there and were unhappy for many reasons. I think it helped that one us is Italian American. Authentic. Three with wine came to $194 before tip. We'd go back. The other good reviews are correct.

I love this place. Although I usually arrive with no reservation and it's usually pretty packed they always find a seat. The service is fast, respectful and friendly with the average age of the waiting staff of over 68.
You have to know where it is as it doesn't seem much from the outside. A real find!

We ate here on a Wednesday night, it was crowded but the restaurant is smaller and very cozy. I called around 5pm to make a reservation for 630 and was given no hassle just a very friendly "no problem". We arrived 15min early and were immediately seated. The waiters are all older Italian gentlemen and know their jobs very well...

Visited Nanni end of January 2010. After reading all the favourable reviews I thought I'd try it. I followed the recommendation of the waiter and had a 2 course meal and a small salad. Service was good, food was ok, nothing more. Including 2 glasses of house wine and a cup of coffee the bill came to $105 + tip....
