I was here for a 2:00 reservation on a Tuesday. The view is lovely, and so is the decor. I was expecting great food and service since I was celebrating a very special event. The main problem was the food took one hour and ten minutes from the time of ordering. That is never acceptable. When I complained, the hostess... More

Feels like you're sitting in a glass bubble filled with multi-level wooden floors and modern art. It's in a cool location that looks out on Columbus Circle, the Time-Warner Center and the Park. The food was great, seem to remember an emphasis on seafood and fish, including caviar. YUM! Had a fun business dinner there, attentive service, definitely looking forward... More

We dined at Asiate for a weekend brunch and were very pleased overall. Most tables in the restaurant had great views of the park and the city. After adding on wine / cocktails and coffee / tea, the check can get pricey quickly, but the quality of service was good and the food was excellent. The brunch definitely has a... More

Brunch at Asiate is outstanding. With an incredible view of Central Park, great food and outstanding people watching, how could you beat it. As can be expected from Mandarin Oriental, everything was prepared to perfection. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to ensure a perfect experience. Note that they reserve window tables for hotel guests. Not... More

We celebrated my husband's birthday here and they went out of their way to make it special. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and they even surprised us with a special birthday dessert! More

I dined twice in Asiate , and both times my experience was very positive. Food was very good and creative. Both times I had a very good table and the service was discrete and good . Restaurant is large but still you can have privacy and it is not very noisy . It is expensive but go there as a... More

Beautiful view from 35th floor of Mandarin , but service was very stuffy esp. for breakfast. Food was OK only and certainly not worth 75$ FOR 2 OMELETS AND 2 CUPS OF COFFEE. The bar for the restaurant is on the other side of the lobby and has the same view and mediocre service and we tried that the night... More
