I live in New York, so I'm spoiled because you always expect to eat well- urbanites are used to eating great food- all the time. On that mark- Oceana provides excellent dishes, perfectly seasoned, plated prompty at the right temperature. What I REALLY appreciate is the qualty of the staff and knowing when to catch our attention for orders, when... More

I loved the place. It is classy and felt comfortable although it was huge. Service was impeccable. Menu was average with not many options and seafood platters are dissapointing. More

Oceana is in the heart of the Broadway Theater district. We wanted something close to our theater and so we tried it based on Tripadvisor and Google reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. The food, ambiance and service were all excellent. It was pricey, but I thought in keeping with NY City prices. My husband said his swordfish was the best... More

I was staying at the Doubletree on Times Square and this was only a few minutes walk. I went there based on other reviews. this is one of the best seafood restaurants I have been to on the road. The hostesses were were very professional, gorgeous, polite, and went out of their way to find me a selection of seats... More

Had dinner, placed was packed and it appears the crowds overwhelmed the staff. Great deal of effort centered on bringing and taking back wine glasses,on the other hand reordering bread took three tries.Swarm of waiters rushing but at the end service was spotty at best. Good wine list. The food was fair and in line with the rather steep prices. The... More

We arrived pre-theater on Easter Day after having been to this restaurant before. But this experience far exceeded our previous visit. The service was delightful, attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious and well presented, and the unlimited pour option offered was a real treat. Well done! More

What a great experience we had at Oceana. Went pre-theater based on others reviews and were not disapointed. The food and service were great, and the space is comfortable and well decorated. We did not have the pre-theater menu but did look at it and it was appropriately priced with a nice selection. Chilled asparagus soup with smoked salmon was... More

The restaurant was recommended by the concierge. It was absolutely terrific. I am a fan of Dover Sole and this was the best I ever had. The chilled lobster appetizer came with three elegant dipping sauces. My wife could not say enough about the scallops. The white wine was served at the proper temperature, something that usually doesn't happen. Service... More
