Tried Pellegrino's on a Monday night with no wait. Had the breaded buffalo appetizers which was excellent. As the main course had the Risotto Di Funghi and the Ravioli, both of which were excellent. Great service, friendly atmosphere. Disagree with the negative comments on previous reviews. Would highly recommend it!

This is a typical italian restaurant in Little Italy, in the middle of the tourist area. We had dinner there last night and the food was surprisingly good. I had the seafood special with lobster at around 42 Dollars and it was excellent. My friends liked their food as well.

Tired after a trans Atlantic flight and a couple of hours of sight seeing we vent to Little Italy for eating. We did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised by this small restaurant. We shared a nice collection of antipasti and I got a risotto where the rice was just as al dente as it should.

One can be overwhelmed by the dining choices in Little Italy but Pellegrino's is definitely a good choice. The pasta was al dente, the sauce delicious, and the service attentive. I had the shrimp in spicy marinara and it was excellent.

Didnt know that this is quite a popular place but went for dinner and had a great time. Luckily, it wasnt crowded when we went. The server was helpful with a person in our group who wanted something not on the menu. Nice area to walk around either before or after dinner.

The highlight of the meal was probably the bread which arrived on arrival! I had the pasta e fagioli soup to start with, which tasted like a can of tinned tomatoes puréed with pasta and beans and was flavourless. My wife had Mozzarella in a tomato broth with garlic bread. The cheese was served cold on top and not melted....

This was a good restaurant to enjoy a quiet meal. The board outside says they were the top rated restaurant in Little Italy by Zagat...I haven't checked the Zagat guide but while their food was very good, I doubt this is where Little Italy peaks. The pricing was reasonable and the service staff were cordial and attentive. Nice place!
