Description: One of America's most popular restaurants, Gramercy Tavern serves inventive American cuisine from Chef Michael Anthony in a rustic yet elegant setting. In the Main Dining Room, we offer prix-fixe menus starting at $88 for dinner and an a la carte menu for lunch service. Reservations are accepted in the Main Dining Room, not for the Tavern area. In the more rustic Tavern area, the a la carte menu is prepared on a wood burning stove and reservations are not accepted, as it is "first come, first served". Gramercy Tavern's superb staff will envelop you with warm hospitality and delight you with an extraordinary selection of wines.

This decades old establishment has very nice atmosphere and good food that will not make you leave hungry. For the price, it is average value and dessert selection is somewhat limited. Go with groups to enjoy it fully. Oner Ayan More

An impressive experience overall with attentive, yet discrete, service with outstanding food. We were worried we might walk out hungry, but the tasting menu has a LOT of food. Like others, we received the "special event" treatment with an extra dessert (for a total of 4 dessert courses!). Even the coffee was amazing. Overall, while the meal was certainly pricey,... More

My husband and I had the degustation menu, and it was full of beautiful flavours. When I confirmed my booking I mentioned that we were in NYC celebrating my husband's 50th Birthday. When the desserts came out, they presented us with an extra dessert with "Happy 50th Birthday Mark" piped in chocolate around the edge. A lovely touch! More

Outstanding service and food, even on a very busy night. We were there to celebrate NYU graduation, and even though every seat in the house was full, the service and food quality made us feel special. This restaurant has prix fixe menus only, but each prix fix course has several options. We tried four different entrees - fish and meat,... More

We had an amazing experience, and highly recommend to anyone with a desire for creative eclectic culinary delights! Finest trrained staff we have experienced in a while! On a scale of 1,2,3 being sustenance only, commercial norm and 4,5,6,7 being lower to upper "traditional anywhere fare to better than avg" food and 8,9,10 being " creative delectable artisanal exceptional "... I loved the food, service and stunning flower arrangements. What a special place. I went for lunch which was good value. The staff couldn't have been nicer even though I brought a six month old with me. He miracously stayed asleep! Fab place. Well worth a visit. More

We enjoyed a fantastic dining experience at Gramercy tavern. It has an interesting menu, with some unique tastes. This is not a cheap resatuarant, but we still considered it pretty good value for money. More

Gramercy Tavern was not what I had expected. It was much better. I knew the rave reviews and was looking forward to a more pub-like atmosphere with down-to-earth American fare. The restaurant turned out to be a very classy place that was more suitable to proper haute cuisine dining than a casual dinner. The dining area evokes a place from... More
