Description: One of America’s most beloved restaurants, Gramercy Tavern has welcomed guests for close to two decades to enjoy seasonal American cuisine, warm hospitality and unparalleled service. The restaurant is perennially ranked at the top of Zagat Survey’s ‘Most Popular’ list, and has garnered eight James Beard Awards including ‘Outstanding Restaurant’ and ‘Best Chef: NYC’. Chef Michael Anthony’s highly seasonal menu consists of elegant dishes with a rustic influence that showcase the restaurant’s relationships with local farms and purveyors. The Main Dining Room serves prix-fixe menus starting at $92 for dinner and an a la carte menu for lunch, and accepts reservations 28 days in advance. The more casual Tavern serves an a la carte menu centered around the wood burning grill, and welcomes guests on a walk-in basis. The restaurant also features an acclaimed wine list, and thoughtfully selected beer and cocktail offerings.

I have been looking to go to Grammarcy Tavern for several years. We chose the bar menu and I was so underwhelmed compared to other restaurants we went to. Service was rushed and unattentive....disappointed

I first went to Gramercy Tavern back in 2004 and remember that it was a great experience. From the food to the service, it was all excellent. I went back two weeks ago and it was still great food and service. My friends and I ordered the prefix menu and it started with a coconut-based soup with shrimps and mussels.... More

Beautifully decorated; food wonderfully tasteful. Alvaro was our server and gave us very useful suggestions on the menu. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the Apple tart tatin was absolutely delicious. We liked it a lot.

My sister in law who used to live in NYC booked us there. As always my sister in law knows her way in NYC she never disappointed us on the places to go. All I can say that this restaurant is beyond my expectation. We had to rush to the airport after our quick dinner. Wish we could have stayed... More

Michelin Star, Zagat 28/30 and more. These reviewers are so right, this place gets better at each visit. Menu is simple and has something for every taste. Wine list is nice with a wide selection. Love their Pinots :-) Reserve well in advance!

What could be nicer that wallowing away a Saturday afternoon at the Gramercy Tavern? I love sitting at the bar, trying appetizers drinking some good wine and engaging in smart sounding conversation. One of my favorite spots in NYC.
