I went for Sunday brunch and my waitress was Kim. Despite being incredibly busy, Kim gave us wonderful, friendly service. The brunch was delicious and a great value. Totally worth the short wait on a Sunday morning! More

Whether you are there for brunch, lunch or a casual dinner - this is a nice place with a friendly atmosphere. It is a typical American bar/restaurant with reasonably priced good food. It is also a dog lover's paradise as the walls are covered with photos of dogs. It is nice neighborhood spot that is laid back. There is a... More

While walking to Fred's on a Saturday or Sunday morning you may see a line of people waiting in a line across the street. Do not get worried, they are people who like to wait in line for slower service and worse food. Fred's has unbelievable French toast and amazing huevos rancheros. On a nice day out door seating is... Enjoyed our experience at Fred's on our last night in NYC. LOved all of the dog imagery across the walls and the laid back atmosphere. Wish we had found this Place a little earlier on our stay! More

This is a typical American bar/restaurant. We loved it! Based on a trip advisor recommendation, we shared the clams in white wine sauce. Divine. My wife at the linhguini and it was superb. I ordered Fred's Chilli Burger with fries. Burger was fine but. the fries were a little overdone. Well priced and good vale for money. As per usual,... More

If you are looking for someplace friendly, not too noisy, with a good selection of menu items on the Upper West Side, try Fred's. We enjoyed Mexican-inspired but American-style chicken fajita (typical ingredients, not very spicy; not presented to wrap) and mushroom ravioli in plum tomato sauce - delicious. Menu includes several comfort foods such as meatloaf and a variety... More

Went here for a late lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Sat down and were attended to promptly and ordered some draft Stella's to start our meal. When the beer arrived I immediately tasted it and thought something was up, it tasted weird and certainly not like Stella. I am pretty sure it was Bud Light but the waiter assured... More

Went here on a Sunday at 11.30 for brunch. Waited about 10 mins for a table, which is pretty good going given the lines outside some other nearby places. The prix fixe brunch at $15.95 includes a wide selection of brunch items, a Bloody Mary / Mimosa or juice, a little muffin with strawberry butter and coffee. I had the... More

What a great find! Loved how laid back and friendly the servers were. My turkey burger was awesome. My friends got the homemade mac and cheese and another pasta dish and they loved them both. The prices were very reasonable. Two thumbs up! More
