I love this place for breakfast/brunch. Even though they only take cash during Saturday and Sunday brunch...it's still worth it. Bubby's tries to be as southern as possible in NYC. They do a decent job. Not many places that you can get grits in NY....AND they're pretty decent (I suggest the cheese grits). Also LOVE the sour cream pancakes!!! More

You can take what I say about Bubby's with the grain of salt because I haven;t been there for a while. I only know the Tribeca location ( I think they have now one in Brooklyn too) . I remember very fresh food, big bright room, cheerful atmosphere ( but never too loud). For those who care about historical value... More

We took the trouble to seach this place out because it was recommended to us. The food was ok but over priced. It's obviously popular.........but we were all shocked when the waitress said we had not tipped sufficiently. This left a nasty taste on the whole experience. How dare she. More

We really enjoyed sitting down next to their open window and had a sandwich and a drink. It was sunny, bright and professional. The food is wholesome and tasty. It looks good too. Full marks for value and atmosphere... More

Bubby's is a good restaurant, there is no denying that, but it is expensive. The expense is justified since all their food comes from local and/or organic sources which is hard to find. Great burgers, mac and cheese, and the grits are pretty good too. Its the kind of place you can go to anytime of day. Sometimes my husband... More

The turkey burger was moist and flavorful. My daughter said the veggie burger was the best she's ever tasted. The fries were freshly cut and perfectly prepared. The mac & cheese is rich and cheesy with a touch of nutmeg flavor and topped with corn flakes. It was rainy and cold outside, and the food was comforting in a very... More
