This is my 2nd time to the Spice Market, but 1st time for a late lunch on a Saturday @2:30pm with my friend and his wife. Have to say was pleasantly surprised. great food...great and helpful waiter.....the waiter helped us pick out our dishes and explained everything on the menu to us...this allowed us to order food we really liked! the place is so nice inside.....you can eat outside.

Our company has booked Spice Market for 3 years in a row when we travel to NYC. We have never been disappointed. We love to reserve a private room and pre-order our menu. The service is always great and the staff helpful in selecting the perfect mix of food. Love it!

I enjoyed the atmosphere more than the cuisine as Spice Market was a little too adventurous for my taste. We got the price fixe tasting menu and while some things were delicious, others were a little too out there. I would suggest ordering something familiar off the menu. However, you may enjoy the tasting menu if you like most exotic...

Had thespring rolls, the cod, the samosa and the chicken curry. Everything was really tasty, but the curry was my least favorite. It was good, but after the rest of the meal this was the least exciting thing we ate.
The service was really good and the location is beautiful.
A little loud though, but it wasn't difficult to hear...

I was given a generous gift card from the Spice Market, so I ate there the first night we arrived in NYC. I enjoy eating late when I'm in the city, and the Spice Market's kitchen is open until 1 am, so it worked out well for us. We arrived about 1130 pm.
