Description: Chef and owner Frank Crispo opened Crispo Restaurant in the heart of Chelsea and the West Village in the summer of 2002.
Our 150 seats create a lively, warm and friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy our signature Northern Italian cuisine.
We were nominated in 2002 for "Best New Restaurant" by Time Out magazine, and received an award for "Best Spaghetti Carbonara" by New York Magazine in 2004.
Food is not our only passion. Our extensive wine list covers the major regions of Italy and several other countries beyond. For enthusiasts, we have a full bar stocked with grappa, amaros, aperitifs and digestifs.

We fell for the PR blab. It was a cold night and living 3 doors away enticed us to Crispo.
Seated next to the bar at the front it was noisy and chilly as the front door was constantly left open by patrons arriving.

Crispo is one of the best Italian restaurants in NYC without even trying. I've been to all the big-name, high-p.r.- driven places and it's among the best. Compare it to restaurants twice its price for authenticity and quality of food.

It was very vibrant and alive .The food and service was excellent. This was our second time there.
The menu has something for everyone and the chef is outstanding .My bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente.My wife had the Bronzini just fabulous. Eveyone should put on todo list.

We found this restaurant throught the tripadvisor app, while we were a little lost.
The outside may seem a little dark, but the true gem is hidden inside.

We just had a fabulous meal at Crispo. Food was delicious, particularly zucchini flowers as an appetizer. Atmosphere is crowded and a bit noisy, but is what you expect on a Friday night. Highly recommend.

I first went to Crispo 3 years ago and had a wonderful experience. Since then, I've been back another 5 times and each visit has been equally wonderful.
I've had the Carbonara repeatedly and it's one of the best dishes I've ever had. Desserts are top notch and the drinks are pretty good.
