Description: Set in the green and welcoming village, Paris Commune is a little slice of bourgeois Paree in the city. With a reputation dating way back to 1979, Paris Commune is one of only a handful of NY restaurants that can truly claim to be a ���neighbourhood��� place ��� with a welcoming atmosphere and chic bistro style monochrome d��cor, complete with obligatory black and white photos of the French capital framed and leaning casually on shelves, just one of many casual, devil may care touches which are so artfully done here. The menu is all about comfort, with simple dishes such as a half roast chicken with frites offering a welcome break from the stove.

“fish was spoiled and over salted to compensate”

We tried the prix fix - the food was over-salted to mask rotten fish. Stay away. Must be new chef/management. Terrible thing to sell bad fish. This restaurant can't survive doing this. More

Beautiful place, very nice design! We tasted delicious new dishes, of course we had the Jungle Red Coqtail!!!! Service Excellent More
