Food is amazing. Be sure to have a drink at the bar before dinner. Serivce is friendly but once our food arrived we had a hard time getting our waiter's attention.

Recommended by a local friend, I walked up and down 9th trying to find the place and just when I was about to give up, I found it. Food is good. Atmosphere inviting and quiet. A solo diner would not feel out of place.

Delicious food, particularly the Crispy Gingered Oysters, Red Curry Crispy Duck and the Apple Bread Pudding. Great location for pre-theatre dining and the pre-theatre menu was actually quite good (two out of four used that). Will definitely return when next in NYC.

Ou to fthe way, quiet, and the food was fantastic. Just the place for a casual, yet important business lunch. Reasonable prices only made it an even better experience.

Great find in Mid-town, pre theatre or anytime. Interesting decor, warm friendly service, variety of appetizers, entrees and desert options. We came for dinner, prices excellent and it was restaurant week with special prix fixe menu for those partaking. Tried the much heralded Chocolate ribs, totally deserve the accolades, Thai basil chicken, Hearth Oven steak and lastly flourless chocolate cake...

By chance decided to try the Ember Room while walking down 9th ave after attending a show. There was no waiting like many places and I don't know why. The decor alone is enough to draw you in. It is beautifully and aestheticly appealing. A must try is the chef's specialty of chocolate BBQ ribs. Very tender and choclolaty...not what...

Wait staff was helpful and made solid recommendations. Had pad Thai, short ribs beer and wine. Bill (for 2) came up to $84 which was entirely reasonable.
