There must be a contest to see how much a hotel bar can get away with charging for a vodka or scotch. The prices were very high and the pours less than generous.
It's expected that things in NYC are expensive, but New York Central at the Hyatt is way over the line. Breakfast for 2 - nothing unusual, just one omelet, one order of waffles, 2 glasses of juice, and 2 coffees - $69.68, NOT including a tip. When I questioned the manager, he replied in his snooty way that things are... More

As a main course I chose Compart Family farms all natural pork chop, smoked fancy peach ragout,... More
Nice meal, quick polite service and easy atmosphere. Upon arrival (8 am) we are told they are out of waffles, pancakes and french toast. So are choices were somewhat limited. We had the I doubt I'd return, it wasn't bad just nothing special after all its just breakfast.
I had a lunch mtg here. The tables are spaced appropraietly for quiet conversation. The service is good though maybe stretched. I had the four leaf salad (I think that was what it is called) with haricots verts, marcona almonds, cheese and a poached egg with a spicy orange dressing. Really good except the poached egg had a weird consistency.... More
