Recently had dinner at Jean Georges. We were all very eager to try this restaurant (It was my first time at a 3 star Michelin restaurant). While we all had the tasting menu, two of us had the Jean George Selection and two had the Spring Menu. While both versions were great, the Spring Menu was notably better. The first... More

Jean Georges at Trump Internatioanl Hotel at Columbus Circle is about the most perfect restaurant that I have ever been to. My husband & I were cordially greeted for our noon luncheon and were immediately seated. The manager came over to take our drink order and handed us the menu. There is an amazing $38 price fix menu for 2... More

Went to Jean-Georges for my birthday. Luckily, my wife and a couple of friends are just as food crazy as I am. We were seated near the door for the kitchen. For me, this was just and extra perk. To be fair, it was never intrusive and didn't affect our dinner at all (at least not until my wife whacked... More

From the moment we walked in and were seated in a comfy booth that looked out into the dining room, we knew we were in for a treat! We were there for lunch on a weekday. Started with glasses of champagne and an amuse bouche that set the tone for a delicous afternoon. We had the two course lunch plus... More

NY's most beautiful dining room. But, food here is challenging with some unusual pairings. The din from the adjoining lounge (which is a real "happening" place) spills into the dining room if the staff leaves the doors open (I've had doors opened and closed on various visits) - something that can really detract from the beauty of the surroundings. I've... More

The $38 two plate lunch menu is extremely good value for a 3 Michelin Star restaurant. For an additional $19 you can order an extra course which is what my girlfriend and I did. With the additional extras they serve you such as palate cleanser and desserts 3 courses is ample for any person. The service and decor are both... More

One of the most outstanding dining experiences we have ever had! We knew we were in for a memorable meal when we were seated in the elegant dining room bathed in sunlight. We had Champagne to start followed by the chef's amuse bouche of the day. We were in heaven and it only got better. The wait service was friendly,... More

Just got back from the most exquisite dinner at Jean Georges. The service was impeccable (Ana was beyond attentive and sweet), the food and wine delectable and the desserts were incredible. All in all, a fabulous dining experience that we look forward to having again. Don't miss this place. And, yes, while the chef might be french, the menu is... More

From start to finish, this was a first class meal and dare I say almost a "bargain" at $108 price fixe menu. We told them we had opera tickets for 7:30pm so they were super attentive to getting us in and out on time. The amuse bouche was delicious, especially the garlic gazpacho and sashimi. We also loved the plates... More
