We ate here using meal vouchers from the hotel next door. The vouchers enabled you to pick from one of the traditional meal combo's on offer and all were very good. We really enjoyed our mornings here, the atmosphere is very laid back on on warm days when the front area is opened up you get a lovely view to... More

Breakfast at Saju was included in our room rate at the Mela, so we ate here every day. Our waitress remembered us from day 1, and even hugged and wished us a safe trip home on day 6. Great service, good food, nice atmosphere - worth a visit. More

Only had breakfast but it was awesome, plenty of variety on menu and food was outstanding. Nice ambiance, fair prices, great service, and relaxed atmosphere make it a must in NYC. More

Enter Saju Bistro and you'll find a welcoming staff, surprisingly large place and deep and wide menu. Breakfast is very reasonable, so much so that you wonder how they do it. A low fat yogurt with fresh fruit for $7? How can they afford mid-town rent prices? By the way, finding the place is tricky because the name 'Saju' is... More

We had breakfast here twice with our deal from our hotel and it was delicious! We ate dinner one night before a show and we had salmon which was bland and a little dry and roasted chicken which was good. All in all we were disappointed as we were expecting it to really be delicious and it was just okay.... More

Our room rate included breakfast which on it's own would have been the ususal touristy price. The choices were good, the service excellent, and the location next to the hotel made it very convenient. More

I've passed this place for years but didn't try it until a friend recommended it. Despite the name, it is NOT an Indian restaurant but actually an authentic French bistro! There's a $28 prix fixe menu (you have to ask for it -- it won't be offered otherwise) but I've always ordered off the regular menu because another dish or... More

Our two mains were the monkfish special and the rabbit. The rabbit dish was beautifully seasoned and full of flavour. Both mains were good although the chef got a bit carried away with the garlic on the accompaniments. I would rate the food as good but service let them down. The waiter forgetting our wine, finding bones in the "boneless... More

I ate twice here (breakfast and dinner) while staying at the Hotel Mela next door. Dinner the night I checked in was very good. The menu had excellent variety in both terms of food and wine. And the bread was delicious! I had a shrimp, arugula, and tomato pasta dish (granted not super-French) but it was very good. The next... More
