You can't beat the price for these good dumplings and sesame crepes. The place was busy even at 10:30 on a Sunday morning. But they are fast. Had fried dumplings that morning. We over ordered on the dumplings so we'll head back to taste the pancakes.

in a city where money flows like water, these dumplings are a very serviceable meal for peanuts. granted, you might not want to eat all five (or possibly ten if you order a double portion), but the food itself is flavourful and abundant. the only accoutrements are soy sauce and watered down sriracha, and they're served on plastic/foam with plastic...

Get the dumplings. 10 for $1.00. Sesame pancake was good too. Yummy and won't break the bank. There was a lineup when we were there, and no wonder.

This place is literally a tiny whole in the wall place with incredible dumplings. They are 5 for $1 and are so good you don't even need sauce. We had the standard pork and chive dumplings and were blown away by how good they were. There are only about five seats in this tiny place so don't plan on sitting...

Listen, say you are walking around and you get hungry. You just happen to be in the chinatown/lower east side area. Voila! Get to Eldridge street and right around the middle of the block between Hester and Canal is Prosperity Dumpling. It"s the one with the big yellow sign jutting out from the building. You plop down 2, yes i...

Picture a restaurant the size of a small bathroom with seating or perhaps "stooling" for six or seven people and there you have Prosperity Dumpling. So my advice is not to plan on eating there (although we did). It's all about takeout and sit down on a bench. The dumpling are very traditional and tasty just like my mom used...

So very glad we sought this place out. Four of us stuffed ourselves silly for exactly $10.25, which bought us 20 fried pork and chive dumplings, 8 shrimp dumplings, 8 vegetable dumplings, and 2 sesame pancakes. Unreal. Each item was delicious, though the fried dumplings were our favorite; greasy in the “delicious juicy pork fat” way, not the “crunchy gristly...

Fantastic dumplings & sesame pancakes at great price. We got our to-go, picked up some drinks at nearby store (Prosperity had very limited drink selection), and ate in the little park right up the street. Highly recommend !
