My family and I ate here on our way to our hotel from Times Square. I did not have any expectations as we were just craving for Chinese food. We were all very pleasantly surprised! The exterior was very unassuming, but the interior was actually very nice. The wait staff are all very friendly, and the service was great (you... More

We thought we would give this restaurant a shot since it had four stars in many reviews. It had a vast menu and maybe we chose wrong, but it was average, nothing great. They seemed to have a pretty big happy hour crowd. Our service was odd. They asked for our order three times in a few minutes. The waitress... More

I love this place. Always good. The general tso was great. Drinks were good for the price. We went before 8 so we could take advantage of happy hour. The waitress was nice and even offered to give us more drinks at happy hour prices even after happy hour was over. Prices were reasonable. The bathroom is not handicap accessible... More

Went here for the first time recently with two business colleagues. Place was amazingly crowded - a good sign. Prices reasonable especially considering New York, we went during happy hour and the restaurant's proximity to Times Square. Portions were not overly generous, but filling nevertheless. Service spotty: I think it was good, but the crowds seemed to overwhelm the staff.... More

I actually think this is the first time I have eaten in a Chinese food restaurant with tablecloths. We were there at the peak of the lunch crowd and the place was packed, but they must have a good deal of their extensive menu already prepared because once we ordered, we had our food in minutes. I had the Moo... More

Stopped in for lunch on the way to a show. The noodle soups are fantastic!!!! I loved it so much , I stopped back in after the show and got more to take on the train back to my hotel. Great food and service.

Service was excellent, as was the food. Nothing extra special here, just tasty Cantonese food served promptly and with a smile. Definitely worth considering if you're nearby and hungry.

Stopped by here after a day of shopping. The steamed pork dumplings in the peanut sauce was awesome! I could have eaten a dozen plates and drank up the sauce! The rest of the food was also delicious. The sign outside advertises a noodle shop so we were hoping for more noodle dishes but we were happy with what we... More

It was loud (almost impossible to hear anyone at your table talk), the service was poor and the food was ordinary. I wouldn't go back again. The food had a lot a grease. The waiters really could care less about the customers. There are much better places to eat. I don't understand why people like it.

Every year my husband visit NY and every year we make it a point to come here. Ginger's has a nice atmosphere. Some of the staff is friendly, but the others not so. I would not consider this also a handicap restaurant since the restrooms are downstairs. Many steps to take. The food though is outstanding. My favorite is the... More
