The dumplings in this place are really nice. Bubble tea is not the real deal, but the dumplings are good. It's cool to see how they're hand-made.
Stopped in for an early lunch and we were able to get seats at the counter allowing us to watch them assemble the dumplings. The kids loved to watch and took loads of pictures (kept them occupied). The tasty dumplings come with an assortment of fillings, some quite non traditional for those who are more adventurous and may be steamed... More
We went to Dumpling Man with high expectations and they were not met....maybe it's because we did take out- but when we got the food home, the dumplings were sticky and clumpy and had lost their crunchiness and the soup dumplings were dry. I might suggest eating in to really test the quality but the place is quite small and... More
Great experience at the Dumpling man! Very small place but you can set at the counter and watch them make the dumplings. We had some of the pan seared pork dumplings and they where delicious. Fun place to go for an experience.
I have never gone out and had "dumplings". Just not what we go out for where I come from. But this experience with co-workers was just fantastic. As a group we ordered just about every kind they had, grilled and steamed. ALL were excellent. For my first time, I really enjoyed the shrimp and pork ones. The place is a... More
I went with a friend for a light lunch on a chilly day, and we split the veggie dumplings and corn quinoa soup. Although it was a little slow, we were in no rush, and the food arrived very hot. The dumplings were very filling, and went great with a squirt of sriracha. The corn quinoa soup was also hearty... More
We ordered pork dumplings seared, not steamed, cold noodle salad, and a special dumpling of the day with kimchi filing in a green dumpling, which came steamed, along with two extra sauces. It was a perfect to-go lunch picnic, which we ate in the park across the street on a beautiful spring-like day in April. Our next visit to NYC... More
If you're looking for a fancy restaurant or a romantic spot for a date, this is not it. But if you're interested in a fresh, delicious plate of dumplings at a reasonable price, then try this place. It's small, and when you sit at the counter you watch the cooks make the dumplings by hand (quite a variety). That's all... More
The dumplings were very fresh and there were varieties of types. We tried the chicken, pork and veggie. The women making the dumplings were doing so right in view of the patrons. We liked and didn't like that. The place is very small, but the turn over is fast. They attended to cleaning up the counters quickly. There are no... More
Ok, its cheap and serves it purpose. However my ancestors would roll over in their graves if they knew I ate here. For a more authentic menu at and even better price try one of Vanessa's dumpling house 3 locations, Eldridge, 14th, and bedford.
