Very romantic, small and special place, we could feel at Rome! Me and my husband were there with our baby in a stroller and the owner made us feel specially comfortable! It was a great experience with a great food and dessert. Will go back for sure! More

My husband and I happened across this small, charming restaurant on the Upper East Side. It wasn't crowded on a Saturday night and we didn't need a reservation. The menu is not terribly long but there were a number of specials (see the photo for one). I had a creamy asparagus soup that was very fresh and filling. Maybe a... More

The restaurant is charming - nothing too fancy - but very warm and relaxing. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was very good The veal saltimbocca was excellent, but my husband wasn't wowed by the beef carpaccio. This is a great place for a quiet, relaxed authentic Italian dinner. More

We live just blocks away from Pinocchio and yet only wandered in for dinner recently for the first time - we loved it. The service is incredible, we were set up at one of their few tables (the restaurant is small, cozy and intimate) and had the most delicious dinner over a bottle of wine. Their pasta carbonara is to... More

Munched on some appetizers and a bottle of vino rosa. Overall cozy spot with good food and wine. Semi-romantic spot and good opera music. More

Our favorite place to dine on the upper east side of Manhattan. Fresh selections are well prepared and consistently delicious. The head waiter Marc is always attentive, always very eager to please and the kitchen (overseen by his sister) is always willing to prepare a special request (although the many daily specials will satisfy almost anyone). Marc always has great... More

My boyfriend took me here on our 2nd date and tried to impress me. Almost 2 years later, we still frequent this wonderful Italian Restaurant. The staple is Marc, the owner who takes our order and I believe his wife who is in the kitchen. We have ordered everything on the menu and a few things they have happily prepared... More

We weren't sure where to eat dinner and wandered around a bit after we left the Metropolitan Museum of Art but wanted to be out of Manhattan and in the direction of LaGuardia. We ended up at Pinocchio Ristorante on 1st Ave. NY, NY and were greeted by a very friendly staff, it was a very nice Ristorante and the... More
