Loved the steak tips, curried shrimp , cheese cake and Whale's Tale Pale Ale. Friendly and not rushed.

When I had been to Wellfleet before and ate at the Flying Fish, everything was mediocre. But when I went this time, the service was amazing (food came in 15 minutes) and the pizza and salad was very satisfying!

Had breakfast there yesterday, maybe at the same time as "overpriced.". For newbies, they do full breakfasts even though we didn't see them on the board behind the pastry counter, but all we wanted was coffee and pastries anyway. Quaint little place, reasonable prices for the Cape, lots of locals there. Not a super place - no view, no table... More

Just had breakfast at Flying Fish Cafe, and while the food was good, it seemed that the owners were trying to save money at the expense of their clientele. We each had pancakes and coffee, while I added a side of bacon and a small glass of Orange juice. Total was over $30, which seems a bit more than necessary.... More

Because it wasn't quite sunny enough for the beach we decided to grab a bite and let the clouds pass. We had eaten here for breakfast in the past so we decided to see what they had for lunch. We both got fresh salads with grilled chicken on top and they were yummy! We had a iced vanilla latte and... More

Food was excellent and menu had interesting items such as shrimp puttanesca and Portuguese clams. My choice was salmon with pesto. Service was cheerful but a bit ragged -- penne came with no sauce, no grated cheese -- nothing. It simply sat there plain as day until we could catch our server's attention. And then -- the marinara sauce was... More

Fresh pastries baked daily and open at 7. Free wifi on the patio. The Morning Glory muffins and Chocolate Crossiants were perfect every day. Sumatra coffee was delicious!

On the advice of a local, my family and travelled to this restaurant. We sat outside and although we had to wait for our food, it was worth it. Everything was freshly cooked. The fish and vegetables I had was excellent. My son loved the steak, my daughters loved their pizza and pasta dishes and my husband raved about the... More

It was a bit of luck but we got a table quickly...went up to the cashier to order for outdoor dining (very good idea to expedite things - and it worked perfectly). Food was great. The nearby bird sanctuary (a solar panel on the house next door) provides entertaining for some of the outdoor seating. The street is not too... More

Flying fish is a great locals place in wellfleet.. There is now a separate coffee-bakery attached, which has nice seating outside. We've had breakfast and lunch there many times over the years. Very casual, friendly place
