The food was good, not on the menu but the ladies made up the fish sandwich for us with out a peep. It was delicious and filling, highly recommended to all. The dark side being the coffee, asking for de-cafe, the coffee was luke warm and how come I couldn't sleep, if it was de-cafe.

Every September while on the Cape, Terri loves to get one of Rookie's delicious Lobster Pizzas. I love to get their Stuffed Quahogs, Clam Chowder and Lobster Roll. This year, we additionally tried and loved their Seafood Scampi and Seafood Alfredo. Both dishes were large with lots of delicous Lobster, Scallops and Shrimp. We generally visit mid-afternoon when we can... More

We were looking for a place to grab a pizza to go and then head to the drive-in and stopped at Rookies, with no preconceptions, just hoping for a good pie. Well, the sausage and mushroom pie was sooo good, we went back with friends the next night for more.

I ordered the fried whole clams and they were great....but overpriced for the amount i got, and my Clam chowder must have micro-waved as well as my friends french onion soup... the waitress was very inexperienced, my friend had his drink 5 minutes before i got mine, and she brought all the food out together and dumped it all in... Most of the restaurants in Wellfleet have the same menu. Rookie's has seafood too but they also have great pizza. Individual sized as well as large so everyone can get just what they want on their pizza. Great place for families to eat.

We were pleasantly surprised at the fine meal we had. The kale soup is delicious and nicely spiced. The clam chowder was creamy and filled with clams. I ordered a meatball sub which was very tasty and so filling that I took half of it home for later My husband had the prime rib special and stated that it was... More

The atmosphere was quaint and the service was warm and friendly. The quality of the food seemed to depend on the cook, however. From what we could tell, the main dishes were being prepared by an experienced and quite good cook, but the sides were done by a less accomplished assistant. It can be recommended if convenience is your main... More

We went to this restaurant twice, big mistake. The food tasted like it had been in the freezer and lacked taste. The seafood was stringy and tough. The food was also overpriced. We gave it a second try and it was no better. Every night, there is only about 5 cars in the parking lot. I don't see how there... More

My brother-in-law ordered the special of the day, stuffed pepper, which was advertised for $11.95 on a sandwich board at the entrance to the parking lot. The rest of us ordered seafood. Our food arrived at the table long before his, and when his finally arrived, he found that the meat and rice filling inside the pepper was frozen! So... More
