Outside they advertise the breakfast for 12$ (eggs/bacon/coffee) but when you enter the offer is different: buffet for 24$ (plus tax & tips) The food is good, self service buffet, eggs, bacon, sausages, fruits and salmon. Only one strange behavior: as soon as you enter, they asks (KGB style) your name... I was quite surprised when it happened and I... More

I had a great visit with friends at Sally's. I had the fish and chips (raved in a separate review about it's tender, flaky Halibut with crispy crust), and others had the crab cakes (appretizer doesn't quite make it as an entree so perhaps add a salad or second appetizer), and it comes iwth a basket of assorted piping hot... Sally's is 'the spot' for grabbing a quick sit down meal for guests of the Manchester Grand Hyatt - so it gets very crowded. That no doubt affects the service and the food. The staff was very friendly, but clearly busy. The menu offers standard fare for a California restaurant - a little seafood, salads, sushi, chicken, vegan. The scallop... More

Had a mixed fish mains but felt that it wasn't that fantastic. Wished that i ordered something else. Otherwise, the al fresco dining was nice and service, excellent. More

I ate here a few times over the course of the conference. It was good food and prompt service. The sushi was lovely and the fries were seasoned differently each day. Be careful which wine you choose. They are overall quite good, but some are quite a bit more expensive than others. More

This is one of the best restaurant I have been on San diego. Food is cooked to perfection and portion are surprisingly large for this high standard. I recommend the grilled fish plate or the scallops. Just fantastic!! More

Sally's is located on the waterfront, overlooking a marina where drool-worthy yachts (well, some are, anyway) rock gently in the bucolic southern Californian sunshine. Location, location, location. We chose an outdoor table initially, then moved inside when it cooled down as night fell. The inside decor is excellent, with various dining areas and a bar area. Our initial intention was... More
