Always a good choice in the heart of Point Loma! Every time we come to San Diego we go to The Venetian. We even had our son's rehearsal dinner here. The food and service is always reliable. This visit was a birthday celebration for our son. We started with the Bruschetta...fresh tomato topping with the right mix of olive oil... More

We came upon the Venetian with the help of Yelp, which guided us to the restaurant. We never ever would have found it otherwise, as it is tucked into a street in Point Loma. Coming in, the restaurant seemed to be slow and small, but we were escorted back into the back half, where the restaurant opened up and had... More

We were in town for a family event and ended up having dinner with a small group of friends. We were quickly seated, but it was a weeknight. Food was just as you would expect - made of fresh ingredients, simply made and presented. Wonderful comfort food. From the chicken marsala to the shrimp scampi everyone was very pleased. We... More

This is a nice go to spot. You can always count on a good meal. It always seems to have lots of customers but doesn't feel over crowded. Traditional Italian American fair.

While on Vacation in San Diego (we were staying in Liberty Station) we had dinner here one evening. My husband ordered the lasagna and my daughter and I ordered a cheese pizza to share. We also enjoyed an antipasto salad. We would return!

I love neighborhood restaurants that provide superior service and food. Wonderful decor, friendly staff (except that one of our servers was having an off day...don't we all), and unbelievable authentic Italian food. Great change after 3 days of fabulous seafood. The salads were huge and fresh, the pasta dishes spiced perfectly and in very large portions. Great place to kick... More

The food here was really wonderful and reasonably priced - huge portions. A hopping, comfortable place for a meal with good service.

We were told to park in the Bank parking lot and so we wound up entering through the kitchen. The Restaurant was more than half empty and no less than 8 waitpersons were standing around at the hostess stand - they can't give them some side work to do? I had pesto, the worst pesto that I have ever had... More

We were in San Diego for two nights and had dinner here based on the tripadvisor reviews. The food was wonderful, the waitstaff was super friendly and the vibe was laid back, family friendly neighborhood crowd. I had the pasta with white clam sauce and it was garlic heaven! I was glad we ventured out of the touristy areas and... More
