If you're looking for great sushi in San Diego, check out Azuki. Nice cozy restaurant in a quiet area close to downtown. We were pleasantly surprised during a business trip. Everything we ordered was excellent. Can't wait to go back. Try the Sunshine roll when you go. Service was excellent as well. More

This is not the place for you if you can not have sesame oil. I did not find anything I could eat. My weight watchers diet line appreciated that . Later I have to say at another cafe I ate more than I should have. I suppose I would have to say it is trying too hard to be cutting... More

Stopped in after trekking Balboa Park for a solo early supper and ended up staying well over an hour, sampling delectable fresh sushi and sipping my lychee saketini, a perfect not-too-sweet cocktail to go with the salty flavors of sushi and garlicky edamame. Courteous welcome for a solo diner (not always the case!). Spent a bit more than I'd intended... More

We had a fantastic dinner at Azuki. It's a small restaurant but did not feel crowded. The menu has a wide variety of sushi and cooked items and everything we had was delicious. The presentation was also beautiful, and overall this was a very enjoyable experience. More

We made a reservation as suggested. We were seated right away at the sushi bar as per request. The ambiance is very upscale for a sushi restaurant, and all the servers and chefs were super nice and on the ball. We had two sashimi plates and a "Near the Border Roll". All was super fresh, aesthetically pleasing, and wonderful tasting.... More

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in SD! They have very fresh seafood and always have different types of fish flown in. I love sitting at the bar and the chefs are always very friendly and personable. I've never had a bad meal here and Love coming here regularly. It's not a big restaurant though so there is... More

I walked into Azuki after failing to get a last minute reservation at Ota Sushi and not being able to find Hane Sushi. I was hopeful when I saw the understated modern decor and the variety of sushi selections on the menu as well as the reasonable pricing. Unfortunately none of the nigiri sushi including the otoro was fresh or... More
