Chef's tasting menu for 4. One vegan, one vegetarian, one kosher and one regular. They pulled it off without a hitch. Excellent wine selection and very knowledgeable servers.

I won't be back. Here's why: - $21 for 6 tiny oysters as an app. (no pearl!) - a cut of hangar steak (for $39) that was about 3 1/2 oz. big (I was still hungry after dinner) - a light pour on the wines by the glass (very limited selection) - turn-off messy entrance with litter and cigarette butts... It’s Barbara Lynch’s world, and we foodies are just fortunate to be living in it. Lynch has gained well-deserved fame and countless accolades (annual appearances on Boston Magazine’s 50 Best Restaurants, the esteemed Relais & Chateaux status for Menton, AAA Four Diamond ratings, a James Beard award recipient, just to name a few) for her French-Italian inspired cuisine that can... We loved No. 9, and while it has a small selection of craft beer the food more than compensates for the tiny bar. We enjoyed the duck mousse and lobster gnocchi. While prices match the highend decor and impeccable service, it's well worth it for the food!

I had something very special to celebrate and this place was just right. Excellent food, excellent service, great ambiance. A full house, but never too noisy. Full attention to details. Recommended.

The location is great and the food is fabulous. My only problem is that I allows seem to get a table by the restrooms. It is great that they have their regular clients but ...they need to be more accommodating to new clients.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant - service and food. The chef's will take into consideration any dietary needs - gluten free, allergies, etc. I am a vegetarian and they made a plate of various roasted vegetables. It appeared their wine list was substantial. Definitely will dine there again on a return to Boston.

amazing haute (read: tiny, tiny portions) cuisine; flavors amazing; view incredible, service OK, decor strange; worth trying for taste experience, but certainly pricey

The food is fantastic, and the service is on the same level without being stuffy. While a high end restaurant, its in no way snobbish. Have been there many times and will be back.

Our favorite restaurant so far in Boston. My partner had the prune gnocchi as an appetizer which did not really appeal to me until I tasted it. It was delicious (and my partner is generally not fond of fruit in main or savory dishes). I had the beet salad which was very good. Everything looked so good that I let... More
