The food was excellent and we booked very early for a reservation (they only take a limited amount of reservations - leaving the rest of the tables up for first come first serve). It was my birthday so I wanted to make sure we had the space. Really nice place and enjoyed it very much.

For starters, I found the brunch menu limited and not particularly interesting. I ordered the lobster omelet, which was good, but that's it. Just good. Frankly, for a place with such a great reputation, it was disappointing. Service was spotty. The server never came back to refill my coffee and seemed disinterested once we weren't ready to order right away.... More

My family and I were in Boston on Mother's Day. We had been wanting to eat at this restaurant and took a chance as walk-ins. We were greeted by a very pleasant hostess and were fortunate to get a seat, and we were thrilled that we did! This restaurant was busy and lively, yet the staff was pleasant, patient, willing... For seafood and oysters you have to come here. The food is great - try the salmon tatar - the service polite and attentive. The atmosphere is great at tables and bar.

Conveniently located on Kenmore Square, this place is busy but worth visiting. They have an amazing selection of oysters, and their lobster roe pasta with braised short rib is absolutely the best pasta dish I've ever eaten.

Thanks to trip advisor we reserved a table there. Don't try it without a reservation. The service is super friendly and fast. Sometimes too fast for my taste. I usually don’t like oysters but I made an exception and tried some of them. It was just deliciously fresh and so different than the other oysters I had before in France... More

We were seated promptly- made reservations way in advance on advise of a local. Beautiful room, had clams and oysters to start, Outstanding. Wait staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Many half bottles of wine which was great for the two of us as we each had a cocktail. Only downside did not have my favorite vodka or gin but martini... More

I went there for dinner with a couple of friends for dinner on a Friday night. This place has an awesome vibe! The bar and seating areas were packed and we even had a late reservation at 9pm. Food: The oysters...in a word delicious! Do yourself a favor and order the signature lobster pasta dish. Yum! Everyone enjoyed their meal... More

I am a big fan of oysters on the half shell. The oysters I had here were fresh and delicious. They didn't quite have that straight out of the ocean flavor I have been lucky enough to experience at a couple of places on the west coast, but they were very fresh. The waiter recommended a nice bottle of wine... More
