Went with my sister on a pub crawl. This was the 2nd stop in our adventure. Delicious with a capital D appetizers. The Wellfleet Oysters were to die for - brynie abundance of sauces even though I don't use them. Also had the rabbit pizza - does not taste like chicken at all... smoky taste more like pull pork. Delightful... More

Really nice menu with something for everyone. Very well dressed, mixed age crowd except by the bar where 20somethings in backward baseball caps ruled. Our second visit and will try it again maybe not for a special occasion but something more casual

I used Towne for a corporate cocktail event and used their private dining room. It was the one of the best experiences that I have ever had booking a similar event in a restaurant. The food was beyond amazing and the service was really great. And all of the planning was super easy. The man that was in charge of... More

Enjoy the atmosphere and creative menu. The staff is so accommodating, bartenders, wait staff, and chef included. They are eager to please and cheerfully fulfill special requests when doable. An absolute must to visit when in Back Bay!

If you are ever in town and are craving a good salmon I highly recommend swinging by Towne and ordering "the black pearl salmon". Now, if Bourbon, Whiskey, or Scotch are your thing then Towne is a must! A dilettante in all of the above, I could not have found a better place to be indoctrinated in the almost cultish... More

This is a great spot. I personally love the atmosphere and the service is excellent!! I usually go with the dirty martini, oysters and cotton candy for dessert, but all of their food/drinks that I have tried are wonderful! Their sweet potato is delicious!! Definitely worth checking out

We decided to try Towne for lunch during restaurant week. The Restaurant Week lunch menu was sparse so we ordered off the regular menu. Food was good-not great. Service was very good. Pricey for lunch. Odd to walk thru the bar to get to the restaurant seating. Fish & chips was the Catch of the Day-- on Good Friday. We... More

We found Towne after searching for a place to dine before heading back to Ct. The usual spots familiar to us we're mobbed, it was Good Friday. We were lucky to find an end booth in the bar area on the first floor. The restaurant was very busy but the server, Ellie, and the service was very good. Our appetizers... More

We ate here on St. Patrick's day. Outside, there were lines to get into every bar on Boylston Street except this one. I gues it was a little high-toned for the occasion. You enter through the bar, which looked OK, but not great. Then you go through a little passage behind the glassware to get to the restaurant. A bit... More

I had dinner at Towne on Monday, March 11. We didn't have reservations, but were seated immediately at about 715pm. The menu was intriguiging...definitely something for every taste, which I appreciated. I ordered raw oysters, which were served with a side of cocktail sauce, horseradish, and guac (yeah, that's right, guacamole) which, when mixed together, was tasty. The oysters were... More
