Admittedly, I might be somewhat biased because this restaurant shares my family name. My fiance and I came in for dinner along with another couple in January and really enjoyed it. They have a great beer selection, including many hard to find beers. The lobster hush puppies are excellent as some other reviewers have mentioned. Three of us had different... More

Stoddard's is expensive. Make no mistake; there are beers that are like $14. That said you can find things that are more reasonably priced and get away without breaking the bank. The quality of everything I've had there is very very impressive, and the general vibe is awesome. It can get pretty crowded, however - if you can't get a... More

Loved the beer selection! And the bartenders were amazing, very professional and knowledgeable. We sat at the bar, had appetizers for dinner and had such a hard time choosing amongst all the great beers. I recommend you try the lobster hush puppies-yummy! More

For a place that has such an extensive cocktail menu, many of the cocktails were really horrible. The Gin Gin Mule tasted like a pixie stick. The pisco sour was the worst pisco sour I've ever tasted. The oysters were outstanding. Fresh and briny -- all around really good. I'm not sure what the big deal is with the lobster... More

Dropped in with some work colleagues before heading to the airport on a friday lunchtime... Really nice bar/eatery with some interesting beers on tap which makes a nice change from Bud light and bad Guinness. Between us we had had the Fish and chips, smoked salmon and Ruben sandwich. All were very tasty and nicely presented and the staff all... More

I had heard good things, mostly of how many beers they had. I like craft beers, so I have been meaning to go here. We tried a month ago, but they didnt open till 5pm on a Tuesday, which was frustrating. Most bars open up at least an hour or 2 earlier than 5 on a Tuesday(exclusing clubs). When I... More

We had an amazing meal and beers at Stoddard's. Went with friends, it was a great casual yet sophisticated atmosphere. We stopped counting at 30 beers on tap, all of which were from smaller breweries in the New England area. Every beer we tried was good, and there are beers for every taste. There are also hundreds of other beers... More

As the title says it was just OK! It was a Sunday and empty, one server on duty and she was busy but attentive - the food was just ok really. More

We were just out walking on our last day in Boston and decided to stop in for a light dinner. We only had to wait 10 min for a table around 8:30 on a Saturday. Food was excellent and so were the bar drinks. We had a new waitress and she did an awesome job. More
