Not your typical Mexican or TexMex place. Great menu featuring true Latin American food with some selections being a fushion of food and flavors from different countries. Loved, loved the food and ate here twice. Nice outdoor seating too. Right outside the Grove Arcade so easy to find on a ramble around downtown Asheville.

The menu will surprise you with the blend of flavors and the variety. Flavors were amazing! Good value for price. Kid friendly - while they do not have a separate kids menu, they will simplify any menu item to make it kids friendly. Menu is fusion of latin american (not to be confused with mexican) and caribbean flavors. This was... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our brunch there this morning. We both love Latin foods and are particular about it being authentic. I was expecting it to be very Americanized but was pleasantly surprised by the authentic flavors and a gourmet flair. Great food presentation. I got the "Aquacate -shrimp" meal and my husband got the "Huevos Rancheros" .... More

Authentic Mexican, Spanish and Latin food served by friendly staff. Gambas al ajillo with a twist - not quite like Spain but interesting with large shrimp and garlic. Warm olive selection was excellent. Another dish had shrimp and chicken in a hot chili sauce. Chimichanga was huge. Drinks are on the small side but wine by the glass was good.... More

Stopped in walking along sidewalk on a lovely sunny day & was surprised by a unique experience. Delicious latin food, far from typical "mexican" I expected. I would go back for sure! Everything our group tried was very good.

After walking around exploring downtown Asheville, we decided to pop in here for a bite to eat. The food was much better than expected. The hot sauce that came with was smoky, but very tasty and complimented the meal exceptionally. A bit pricey, but it's Asheville, so I guess it's to be expected.

Chorizo is a bit more expensive than my norm, but my whole party was delighted at the food here! I was visiting Biltmore with my wife, daughter and in-laws (from Honduras) so a Latin place has to really be exceptionally authentic & good for them to be impressed. They were. The place is a bit artsy for my taste, but... More

As a huge fan of Chef Hector's Salsa, I had high expectations of this place. Expectations met. Not only is this food and decor of this guys restaurants eclectic, colorful and fresh, but he seems to be able to find staff that are nice and warming. Maybe he provides a work environment conducive to making his employees feel like humans?... More

We did this on our food tour and went back to get dinner. They were out of salsa so they gave us extra guacamole. Some of the best guacamole I've had north of Mexico!!

We were in Asheville for the night and were directed to Salsa's in downtown. That restaurant was having a private party and was closed. One of the waiters gave us Chorizo's name as it was run by the same chef. I have had very little Latin food but was willing to give it a try. I was impressed. The food... More
