The dishes had a fabulous smoky flavor and were incredibly inexpensive! My teen son could barely finish a large noodle bowl while I had...

This is one of our favorite local restaurant's and we take all our guests here. They all love it, especially people with food "issues"--there is something for every taste. It also has a fun atmosphere, good service and consistently good food.

Most downtown Asheville restaurants are closed on Monday, making it hard to find a place for dinner then. Doc Chey is open on Monday, closed on Wednesday.
As the other reviews mention, the food is good, fresh and they served good sized portions.
Unless you are ravenous, you don't need to order appetizers.
