This is THE place to go at sunset for a cocktail downtown. Always an intersting crowd with killer views. Not sure about the hours of operation, last year it was Wed - Sun afternoons. Unique rooftop hangout for locals and visitors. We met some folks in town from Southern Living More

A fun bar--just little tables set up on the fire escape of the Flat Iron building, with amazing views. Reasonable prices, and a great spot to relax with friends after a day downtown. I think it opens around 5:30. More

Something to do if you are not staying somewhere with a view. It is what it is, a roof top with a few metal tables and a very pretty view. If you are into old and unique this would be a place you would like to try. More

As you approach this restaurant you are treated to a bit of 1940's with an elevator operator who greets you inside the lobby of this grand old marble building. He opens the elevator door and operates the grated elevator doors and whisks you up to the appropriate floor. Up there, it looks like a little warren of halls and office... More

We got to the 8th floor right around sunset and watched the sky turn beautiful colors of red, orange, yellow and then fade to wonderful greens ab blues. We ended up sitting at a table on the 7th floor and loved it! Drinks were great, worth the wait to be served! More

I am not kidding. This is LITERALLY a metal fire escape on the side of a building. That's it. No tables. No chairs. No inside. No bar (physical bar I mean, there are drinks served to you). A fire escape. You order drinks from a person who disappears into a back room where someone makes cocktails, and then s/he brings... More

Why give this "bar" which really is just 3 floors of fire escapes an excellent rating?? Sounds crazy, doesn't it? But, IF you go at sunset the Sky Bar cannot be beat. The bar is located in a beautiful old building, and you can choose 3 different floors for your drink. There are two floors where you just stand and... More
