Yes, this is a lunch place, but such a treat. My husband ordered the quiche (yes, real men do eat quiche) and it arrived standing five or so inches tall. The presentation was glorious and it was delicious.
I ordered one of their signature sandwich beautifully presented on a wooden board. Our meals looked like pieces of art, and at...

Drove by today and there is a sign saying Closed. Their website says it is due to lack of renewal of lease. This is so sad. This is/was a unique, creative and fun place to dine on excellent food with a warm and friendly staff. A corporate restaurant opened next door within the past year and has limited parking. I...

We stopped here on our last day visiting Asheville. I heard all the rave reviews and was very excited, my husband not so much - "A book store with food" he said. Stopped at this restaurant on the way home from Charleston. Turned out to be the best meal we had all week. Orange french toast was the best french toast I've ever had in my life. "Karen" was the nicest server I have ever encountered. Everything was amazing. Stop if you are ever in the area.

Located at the Biltmore village, this place is spectacular! We had the Orange Cinnamon French Toast with fruit lovingly constructed. Drool. Seriously. Karen, our server, was very helpful and cheerful! They also had bakery items such as Nanaimo Bars - I have never seen these outside of British Columbia! They were fantastic! You could get a lunch to go even...

What a great find for Breakfast. (Only open for Breakfast and lunch.) Stones throw from Biltmore gate, across from the Church. Not your typical eggs on a plate place. Food was masterfully prepared and presented on a wooded board, artfully arranged. The tables are located in a book store/gift shop so you can walk around and browse while you wait....

We called ahead of time to make reservations. The staff was very friendly. We walked right in to our table which had a reserved sign for us. The asparagus quiche was the best quiche I have ever had. The presentation was beautiful. My husband had the herbed eggs which were amazing. The bacon was awesome!!!

Eclectic place for breakfast. Look at the books while you wait for the delicious food. Orange French toast, eggs and mile-high quiche were all excellent. Great food and atmosphere.
