try the chocolate creme brulee and lavender creme brulee - amazing - be prepared to wait since the place is very popular
Browse the pictures here and go. Our stays in Asheville are getting longer due to the many wonderful eateries in the town we have to return to. French Broad is the one place that gets return visits multiple times on each visit! The liquid truffle satisfies the longing for the European sipping chocolate I learned to love over there. Creative...

Wow, every visit to Asheville, NC should include a stop here. It is chocolate heaven with a very cool vibe. It's open late to finish off any Asheville visit. I recommend the liquid truffle oh my...so good!!!!
We came here 3 nights in a row during our stay in Asheville, and we loved everything we got. Don't be put off by what seems like a long wait when you first get there. Grab a menu and dive in. Besides, you'll need that time to figure out what you want to eat. However, don't completely make up your...

Hip, trendy, friendly place to have dessert, a beer or a glass of wine (or all three) with friends or family. The locals consistently recommended the lounge over the other chocolate stores. I agree. A must do while in Asheville.

I can only review the "liquid truffle" as that is all I consumed on two visits. After our restaurant meal, we strolled over to the French Broad Chocolate Lounge to indulge in an unbelievably fabulous teacup of molten chocolate in various flavors such as pure dark, lavender & honey, maple and sea salt, milk chocolate, Buddha w/cocoanut milk, and a...

It feels like a rush. The line to get to the delights is lively and loud. The only complaint is that it is so crowded and energetic that you can not focus on the chocolate. The cake is moist, delicious, and decadent.
Sugar and caffeine......It's a very nice place to sit and spend time with friends and loved ones, but it is almost always very crowded. I walk right past it countless times because the line is way too long. It's not the lounge's fault, unless you fault them for having good coffee(hard to find) and delicious homemade/handmade gourmet chocolates and treats....
