We only had one meal here, a luncheon, & it was very pleasant sitting outside at the front of the diner. The steak sandwiches were very good and reasonably priced. Unusual objects in this area such as old machine tools & petrol pumps.

The décor is unique to the Asheville area. The food is the usual Mellow Mushroom menu, but the décor and staff add the flair.

We were hungry after a day of golf and looking for a good dinner before we headed back to our vacation rental. Mellow Mushroom has great food and service! The selection of beers is not to shabby either.

Good pizza crust. Really liked the Kosmic Karma and the Cesar salad. They were very accommodating and put the sporting event we wanted to watch on the TV closest to us.

A group 8 went at 5:30 and hardy anyone here. Most of us ordered the house special, whic should have been pepperoni, sausage and bacon and vegg. Lots os veggs but only a few pieces of pepperoni, It was not worth the $14.00 for a small pizza. I would not recommend this to others

We love Mellow Mushroom pizza, but this location is one of the worst run restaurants we have ever visited. All of the employees appear to be in a daze, and good luck getting your food in less than an hour. And the servers have mastered the art of avoiding the customers like the plague. Decided to order "out", so went to bar, enjoyed a beverage and placed a to go order for eight. Bartender was great, very personable, got our order correct, provided the necessary beverages, so would certainly recommend!

Arguably the best pizza in the downtown Asheville area, hands down in my opinion. Best crust on any pizza, ever and a very creative menu. Good hummus, and sandwiches as well.
