Used to be quite a spot, back in its prime. As other reviews here show, food quality is irregular. Some good dishes come out from the kitchen and some pretty poor dishes, too. Most guests would like some predictability in their food. I have had some good ones (generally the simplest, such as pizza) and I've had food served with... More

We ate dinner here while staying at the Staybridge suites across the street. It is very family- friendly with nice waitstaff, and quick service. It was a perfect meal for our children and for us.

The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. Salad from a bag, my husband's martini came in a miniature glass..we were charged HALF PRICE, the eggplant pram was stringy and gray.

The old Pulcinella is dead. The new Pulcinella is heading for extinction. This was once a fine family-style Italian restaurant, owned and managed by Italian-Americans, serving brick-oven pizza, fresh contorni, pasta, and fattening desserts. The ownership changed a few years ago, and the distinction is gone. The food quality, service, and value are all poor. All of the old Pulcinella... More

I've eaten here three times. Each time I found the food to be excellent. Each time, I also felt the service could be more friendly. I don't want to mislead, service is attentive and efficient. I just find an element of friendliness missing. Something, perhaps as simple as more smiling. Still, found food to be excellent each time and prices... More

Favorite local restaurant in McLean. Great veal dishes. Standard stop when visiting relatives in McLean. Good service, consistent food.

I have lived in the area for six years, and I had yet to try Pulcinella. Having bought a coupon deal for it, I decided to take my family there one chilly, rainy evening. It was warm and cozy and harkened back to a little italian gem you might find in NYC's Little Italy. The food seemed homemade. My kids... More

I've been to Pulcinella a few times and always pleased that the food is consistent and staff is friendly. Our last trip was on a Saturday and normally we visit during the week. Unfortunately, they do not serve sandwiches on the weekend, so we opted for the excellent brick oven pizza. As usual, it was a nice balance of think... More

Been going here for over 15 yrs and never a disappointment. Every dish is wonderful. Carbonara, pizza, eggplant, lasagna, its all good. The dessert cappucino pie is famous in our house. White pizza is a must! This is a three generational family favorite.

The food, service, and prices are all very good. The menu and wine list are good. We have been back twice and will go again before we leave the area. Well worth a try.
