Had the pleasure of spending my 25th wedding anniversary in Moab, Utah. One of the highlights while here was an exquisite meal at the Desert Bistro. We're from Houston where we have no shortage of wonderful places to dine. Who would have thought a little town in Utah would have a restaurant that would rival almost anything from our town.... More

By far the best place to eat in Moab! If you don't mind spending a couple extra bucks it's well worth it. It's a small restaurant with intimate service. I absolutely love their salads with the cornbread croutons. All you can say is yum after eating their delicious food!

Based on local recommendations and reviews here, we made a point of having dinner at Desert Bistro. The establishment is smallish and service intimate, very nice. All of the staff were friendly and approachable while fully attentive. Menu is varied and interesting. A good selection and interesting specials. My wife's pasta dish was excellent, my bison filet surrounded with a... More

It's a real winner when every single things about a dining experience is top notch. This was one and I guess as a jaded NYer to find it in 'the middle of nowhere' made it that much more special. We had drinks, apps, entrees w wine and desserts. It was almost like we didn't want to stop eating it was... More

Small with some outside dining. Very good wait staff. The food was very very good. Some new things on the menu. Save room for dessert.

When visiting a tourist town near national parks, you don't expect to come across a fine dining gem among your typical run of the mill, tourist town restaurants. After reading reviews for places to dine in Moab, we saw that the Desert Bistro was rated highly and I certainly know why. We made a reservation for our last night in... More

My husband and I spent a couple of days in Moab over the Memorial Day weekend. The town was jammed. Desert Bistro is one of the best restaurants in town. We had excellent service and a very good meal. The prices seemed a little high. My husband had the bison tenderloin special, $45. I had the pasta with mushrooms which... More

We enjoyed a birthday dinner at the Desert Bistro. We emailed in advance for reservations (highly recommended) and explained we had a birthday girl in the crowd, and a toddler. They were very accommodating. The setting, the food, and the service were top notch. Not cheap, but great.

We chose to eat inside here after a full day of hiking in Arches and enjoyed a pleasant atmosphere. There is a covered patio in the rear that also looked nice, however the view is of a small parking lot. The food and service were both excellent. The two of us enjoyed our salads and entrees with a half bottle... More

This restaurant is not your average Moab eaterie. Food was beautifully presented. Restaurant itself is casual but classy. It is quite expensive but worth it for a special occasion. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Can eat inside or out. The location is off the main street so you could easily miss it.
