I read the review on tripadvisor and hope for a good service. But we waited for a long, long time to be seated because waiter is busy chattering with friends. In fact, there are tables available at that time. we are totally neglected. The food was served very very slowly. We waited for over 45 minutes to have our first... More

There's a grain of truth in some of the few negative reviews here: the service is very slow, the rice-to-filling ratio in the sushi is high, and the sushi chefs are quite clearly not Japanese. I'm not at all sure why the last issue matters in the least; the other two are something the owners really should do something about,... More

Seriously! Five stars for sushi! Sabaku was an amazing surprise in the desert....wait....anywhere! The rolls are inventive and everything was very fresh. We had the Colorado and Fiery Furnace rolls and they were to die for. Then we finished off the night with a Dessert Roll and Mochi....I can't remember what all is in the Mochi but it was damn... I really wasn't expecting to find such great sushi in Moab, Utah! This was a pleasantly surprising find, recommended by the staff at Tag-A-Long. The sashimi I had was very good, fresh and expertly prepared. The staff were really attentive and very friendly. Great place to go for dinner! More

I was a bit hesitant on taking in sushi in the middle of the desert and thinking of the hours from the nearest ocean but my local friend Steve raved about this place. I am so happy I tried it because as a bit of a sushi snob with experiences of eating sushi in many of the major cities and... More

If you like sushi, you'll love Sabaku Sushi. The service is really good. They are very attentive and for example they will serve your beer in iced glasses. The sushi is simply amazing. I would travel all the way from Copenhagen again just to eat sushi here one more time! You have to try the cheviche for a starter, it's... More

Sababku is relatively new to Moab, but it is definitely a place to not be missed. The sushi is good, the drinks are fun, and the service is excellent. Love Happy Hour at Sabaku!!! More

My husband and I love sushi, but this place was ok. The rolls had a lot of ingredients that we werent excited about it. We ordered one with lemon and it had a very strong flavor. The prices were a little high and the portions small. We spent $70 on two rolls, two appetizers, two miso soups, one glass of... More
