Seems like we stop here once a day...the peppermint cupcakes around Christmas are great, but the lemon are the best...maybe the banana...if you get lemon you need a chocolate to even things out...all so good. More

I go to the Kara's in Palo Alto, and it is always such a treat! Their cupcakes are different from some of the other popular chains, as their cupcakes have a fluffier texture to the frosting. Kara's Carrot and Chocolate Velvet are heaven! More

Cute-wise, this place is great!!! Taste-wise, mehhhh. The frosting has a subtle but strange oil aftertaste. And half the time the cake is not moist enough. For the price, you could do a LOT better on flavor elsewhere. But if you just want something cute for a party, have at it. More

Very nice store clean and vibrant. They have several stores thru out sf and peninsula. My faves are coconut and mocha flavor ones. There are other companies that do cupcakes around sf but they also do other items so attention is taken away from cupcakes. At karas its different and I will say it once they know their cupcakes here. More
