We saw people going in and out during our LONG wait across the street at Mama's and decided to go after to get focaccia bread. They were sold out of a lot, but what we got was good. Not great, but very good. Would have been better hot. The counter staff was not rude, but definitely not friendly.

We tried this little gem at 11:30am on a tuesday and a lot of the flavours had out, so that lets alot in itself. My wife and I shared an onion focaccia and it was unbelievable. If your in north beach, you must go.

The food is great, the servers too and during the week you do not have to wait as across the street at Mama's. I had coffee, orange juice, fruits and scrambled eggs and everything was just perfect!

This bakery makes probably the best Focaccia bread in the world outside Italy. Its not only the bread, buying it is an adventure! :) You say the sort you would like, the "bread-women" gets it, you put 5 usd on the counter, take the bread and leave. If you say something, comes too late etc; then it is "no bread... More

They always sell out before you think they might, but it's well worth getting up and out a little early to make a purchase to enjoy all day long. Best EVER.

I was told to go early, ifi wanted choice of tastes, we were there at10 am and they already run out on 3 out of 7 different tastes.bakery closes at 14:00 and if they... More

If you're in North Beach stop at the Liguria Bakery and grab a focaccia square to go! It's so delicious, as greasy as it should be. Every bite reminded me of my summertime vacations in Cinque Terre, Liguria. Just go with the plain, no need to add extra flavors.

The only thing special about this standard bearer of the Italian Flag is the focaccia and despite the plain exterior, interior or the brusque acknowledgment that you even exist, you indeed are there just for that, the focaccia! While in San Francisco, I wouldn't miss a visit there for anything. It manifests childhood memories and those of the Sonoma vineyards... More

I still buy their foccacia when I am in the neighborhood. It is wonderful. Forget Mama's in three years of living there I never bothered with the wait I went to Curley's. Yes they may have the attitude that they do not need you but that is because they don't. My wife worked with a woman who lived in their... More

Focaccia bread, muffins, scones and biscotti... all wonderful. We ate on the focaccia bread for days. LOVE the smells in the store...
