Fantastic sandwiches. Just awesome. Great size and full of really high quality ingredients. Also sells a vast supply of Italian deli products.

Molinaris is a little deli on the corner of Columbus Ave in North Beach. We always visit for sandwiches to take back to Sacramento whenever we are in the city. An itialian deli that has been around forever. You go in, get a number, pick your bread out of the bin and then peruse the sanwich menu above the deli... More

Huge and delicious sandwiches! You can choose between different kinds of italian pastramis. I had the "Basil Turkey Special", which comes with lots of delicious turkey, dried tomatos, tomatos, pesto, and fresh mozzarella. Perfect choice for a big snack after going down from Coit Tower. If you are not starving, I recommend sharing the sandwich!

This place is delicious, but can be confusing. We did not realize until a person waiting explained to us we need to grab a number and a roll of bread from the bread bin. The food is amazing each sandwich is sliced per order, tons of antipasto to choose from, and there are some many of bottle of wines. I... More

Been going there since I was a boy and lived two blocks away over 70 years ago. Every Saturday we'd stop by for delicious breads and meats. Then around the croner to a Mexican deli (no longer there) for great homemade Tomalis. Left when I enlisted in the Navy but every trip back always stop at Molinari's for sandwichs that... More

We also went for lunch based on reviews we read here. It was hard to choose a sandwich from the extensive menu. Our sandwiches were yummy. The bread was fresh and soft. The meat and cheese were Italian through and through. We ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner.

Following all the reviews on trip advisor I went here for lunch at 12:30 and I think I made it just in time! When I looked behind me the queue was out the door!! I chose the Molinari special. Should be toasted on a focaccia but the lady in front for the last one! So I had a ciabatta which... More

If you don't stop at this deli, it will be tragic. Fresh, authentic, tasty, affordable. Sandwiches are huge and can easily be shared. Go for the Renzo-fresh mozz and amazing prosciutto. Carry-out only, although there are a couple of tables outside.
