This is the most wonderful cake! Layers of sponge drizzled some kind of heavenly liquore. filled and frosted with clouds of Marsala flavored zabaglione and creme whipped together. This must be what angels eat. More

Visited one evening after dinner. It was a good place to stop and have coffee and dessert. The pastries and desserts are all light. I am from the midwest and am used to heavy desserts, so it takes getting used to the light and fluffy. I had a chocolate mousse layered cake. It was good, but not the best I... More

After a terrible lunch in Chinatown, I needed to cleanse my palate with a dessert. I stopped in Stella Pastry on Columbus avenue and I am so glad I did. I love canolis and being from Houston, it's hard to find any good Italian food, especially canolis. My husband ordered a capuccino and I got a cafe mocha and split... More

Pastries are very good! We shared the tiramisu and would have gotten a second if we weren't so full. More

NO one makes this cake like STella does. Whipped cream, white cake, and zabaglione. Ask to see it. Pick up the largest size you can carry. NO regrets. More

now that i know how to make my own tiramisu, i'm not as fascinated by their tiramisus anymore, but it's still the best in the city IMO. cannolis and biscottis here are yummy too; just a nice vibe and good cafe in the neighborhood (i live in the neighborhood) More

Although a bit pricey, you can't beat the Napoleons. We have been buying them for years and they never fail to excite us. The Sacra Patina and the Tiramisu are also dynamite. Bakery is open late nights for take home sweets. Enjoy! More
