“Good Dinner in the Haight”

Had a lovely dinner here on our visit to San Francisco. As another reviewer noted, the new name is Tandoor on Haight, and though we can't compare the service/ owners/ etc to the old name, we experienced excellent service, tasty food, and large portions. “Excellent Tandoori chicken”

First - please note that their new name is Tandoor on Haight. Same great food, owners, and staff. We've gone there regularly for years. You'll find all the standard Indian dishes plus a few unusual ones, including several vegetarian dishes. Servings are generous, and the "specials" are a great deal - entree, rice, naan, and dal, around $10-12 for most.... More

“Great Tandoori Chicken & Naan”

We are local residents, and come here all the time. The owners are friendly, service is relaxed and the food is excellent. The Tandoori Chicken is excellent as is the Naan, Bindhi, Chicken Saag, Chicken Jal Frezi, and Makhani. The specials are a great deal, around $10 and comes with rice, dahl and Naan. Free Chai also included with meals.... More
