We dined here as it was convenient for the ICH where we were staying.£30 (GBP)per person evening meal. It was okay, nothing poor nor great to say. it was fine.
Myself and my girlfriend ate here after a lone trip from Ireland and in need of a quick bite. A very basic simple layout with a few TV's with Hockey and Basketball on gave a laid back atmosphere. We got a slice of peperoni pizza each and a portion of garlic bread. Prices were quite cheap and to be honest... More
Great food, great bread, and good service. I was surprised to see the meals were sill reasonably priced (average dinner $18, $10 for a burger). We took my father in law, a real Italian from NY. He loved it!
We had been dining at Little Joe's since 1971.... at its original location on Broadway, then Van Ness, 5th Street and now, on Market. The seafood stew was still great. But both the wine and beer selections were sadly disappointing. We had tiramisu for dessert, both the middle and bottom layers of teh tiramisu were dry and stale. The tiramisu... More
The address given on Trip Advisor for Little Joe Baby Joe is incorrect. That address is many years old. Since then Franco has moved to SOMA and now has a new location at 85 Fifth St. (at Market). It isn't in the greatest area of town, but I would not consider it unsafe. You can get off the Muni at... More
If there were a 0 star it would be more appropriate. The waitress saw us standing at the door 5 minutes before showing us a table. The bread was stale and that should have been the sign to leave. On the other hand it made great crutons for salad. I got the Veal Parm and the Spaghetti with meat sauce.... More
We go to San Francisco at least once a year and never miss eating at Little Joe's. We've followed Joe through three different locations. It was worth the search to not lose this gem. Our waiter, Keith, was terrific and gave some great suggestions for the entrees and desserts. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but my... More
Lived in the Bay Area for years and this was one of the places we'd go to treat ourselves. We waited in line at the Columbus and the Broadway and Columbus venues. We moved from the Bay Area about 20 years ago. On one visit, we found Joe's on Van Ness, and during another visit found Joe's on Mission. I... More
I haven't been since the early 90's but this place ROCKS! The seafood pasta is to die for. I would LOVE to go back one of these days but from what I hear and read it hasn't changed a bit. I've recommended Little Joe's to MANY friends over the years.
I wanna go i wanna go!
