As wine lovers, we enjoy places with free corkage and decent food. We like this cafe because it fits our needs. The food is decent, priced very fairly, and the service (usually one wiat person) is friendly. The place is funky and could benefit from some new tables and chairs but we have always liked the food.

No waiting for tables - ever - at weekday lunchtime but there will be only one waitress and one cook ... order fried chicken (and biscuits) one piece at a time. Great sides for only $2 each.
Weekend brunch always busy and reliably fun.
